To address the needs and benefits of moving freight efficiently in Will County, this project will include freight-related educational outreach and future recommendations. The Freight Plan will emphasize the need to develop and implement policies and programs that build awareness of freight issues and the benefits of growing the freight economy.

Educational outreach will be accomplished through various means that involve communication and interaction among local jurisdictions, businesses, elected officials, policymakers and other interested stakeholders.
